Description

If you want to enhance the sporty look of your M2, a BMW original hybrid instrument panel with its post-LCI classy half-analogue speedo, is exactly what you need. 

The half digital instrument cluster consists of analog speed and rpm gauges with LED lights and a digital display in its lower half. During the day the digital part is electroluminescent, which enhances the overall look of the car’s dashboard. In other words, it feels stylish and modern at the same time, and who doesn’t want that for their BMW?

This improvement also boosts the overview of the instrument panel at night making it crisp and clear. So, a quick look at the dash will give all the specs you need to keep track of during driving.

The digital part of the cluster shows all the important control information like Comfort/Sport/Sport+ modes, navigation, oil temp, current speed in numbers, a basic animation of the car, etc.

Installation
The process itself consists of 2 main steps:
  1. Fully plug & play installation (takes up to 1h)
  2. Coding (after the installation is finished, it is necessary to schedule a remote coding session with a BimmerTech technician)
For this installation you will need to get to your old cluster, so pulling out the steering wheel as much as you can will be necessary. You will be required to remove the screws and take the cluster out considering the connections. Then it will be necessary to plug and fit in the new cluster putting the screws into place. Please note that it’s not recommended to drive with the newly installed hybrid cluster if it hasn’t been coded. So, it’s better to plan the installation to be followed by the remote coding session right away. 
 The kit includes all parts necessary for a complete installation:
  • Hybrid instrument panel cluster
  • Pin adaptor
If you do not have a coding interface cable, you will need to purchase one for your coding session. You can add it at the top of the page.
The way this half digital gauge cluster is mounted is completely lease-friendly as there are no permanent modifications needed.
