BMW intercooler upgrade is compatible with BMW F2x (1/2 Series) and F3x (3 Series) vehicles, as a replacement for BMW N20 intercooler, BMW N26 intercooler, and BMW N55 intercooler.

Installation

Installation of the BMW intercooler upgrade takes 2-3 hours and does not require removing the front bumper.

The kit includes all the parts necessary for a complete installation:

  • Quartz Frost Intercooler

Installation is designed to be DIY-friendly and is completely plug-and-play. You will need to lift your car, unscrew the belly pan and switch out your old BMW intercooler, before reattaching the belly pan.

Quartz Frost Intercooler

  1. Secure your car and lift it up on jack stands, hydraulic lift, or ramps.
  2. Unscrew the belly pan and remove it.
  3. Remove the old intercooler.
  4. Carefully install the new intercooler, connecting it to the charge pipe and the boost pipe.
  5. Screw the belly pan back on.
  6. Lower the car and you are ready.
